A hand-crafted logo for Edward Johnson's Westling team and coaching practice. I combined the "A" and "W" from Athletic Wrestling to interlock in a dynamic and forceful way as if the characters were wrestling each other. The typography is then encircled by lines reminiscent of the wrestling mat boundary lines.
Sunset Alarm Clock Interface (conceptual project)
My role: User interface / user experience design
Tools used: Photoshop
Project goals: To create a cohesive and elegant aesthetic and an engaging tactile dial functionality.
Key insights: From feedback on the interface, I found this dial to be rather engaging; users were inspired to reach out and touch the dial. I also found that the dial may not be necessary on the Alarms "home" page.
My goal was to design an alarm that provided clear visual cues to show how much time they had to sleep or until their next appointment. Based on comments from those who saw it, people found the "time-until" function helpful, but the aesthetics of the app was the main appeal.
Purpose: To test my interface idea and to teach myself this aesthetic look.
Medium of presentation: Mobile
Photoshop Product Rendering
The goal: To take an existing product and render (draw and shade) it in photoshop to give the finished product a highly refined glow and finish. I learned this work flow from Ohad Basson, an industrial designer in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Medium of presentation: digital
Tools used: Photoshop
Purpose: for fun and practice
